Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Indrid Cold is an original member of Dark Waterand The Society of Invisibles, both associated with Babygrande Records. He is recognized for his powerful and distinctive voice, commanding delivery, intricate cadence, intellectual lyricism, and witty punchlines. His unconventional sense of humor and rebellious personality often brought him into difficult situations, experiences that he ultimately transformed into inspiration for his music.

Indrid Cold and producer The Premonist were in the final stages of completing their collaborative album when tragedy struck. In 2019, Indrid suffered an overdose that resulted in severe oxygen deprivation and left him in a critical neurological state. Although the project had not yet been officially completed, The Premonist was able to finish the album using the material they had recorded together during the final stages of production.

Indrid’s presence, artistry, and legacy continue to resonate with those who knew him and supported his music. We remain hopeful for his recovery and continue to hold him in our thoughts. This project will be released with the same passion and dedication we would have brought to it together—as a tribute to his voice, his artistry, and the mark he left on hip-hop.
