The Premonist, along with the artist 2UGLi, established this record label with the aim of providing a platform for hip hop artists lacking resources, connections, or financial backing to showcase their talents to a broader audience.

UGLi Business has officially expanded its international presence with the signing of our first overseas artist, CRIS, representing Athens, Greece. Rooted in the authentic spirit of Golden Era hip-hop, CRIS delivers a commanding lyrical style over classic boom-bap soundscapes, seamlessly incorporating both his native Greek and English into his music. As we begin developing his artistic direction and introducing his work to a wider audience, be sure to follow him on Instagram at @Theycallme_cris and stay tuned for his upcoming moves with UGLi Business. Salute to CRIS!

I GOT THE JUICE MOUFUKKA! VOL 1

2UGLi & The Premonist: Building the Future of Underground Hip Hop with UGLi Business. Founders of the UGLi Business movement, 2UGLi and The Premonist unite a powerful collective of artists and producers with the release of their highly anticipated compilation album, “I GOT THE JUICE MOUFUKKA VOL. 1,” dropping August 7, 2026. Created as a showcase of raw talent, individuality, and the diverse sounds within the collective, the project brings together a roster of exceptional artists from across the country. Producer The Premonist, formerly of Babygrande Records’ The Society of Invisibles from Phoenix, AZ, provides the majority of the album’s sonic landscape, crafting a dark, cinematic, and innovative backdrop for each artist to deliver their unique style and perspective. Representing different regions and backgrounds, the compilation features performances from 2UGLi (San Diego, CA), ILLRoot (Sacramento, CA), Jacy Chantiles (York, PA), MaviMarx (Grand Rapids, MI), and newest member Wayce (San Diego, CA) as they showcase their lyrical ability, creativity, and signature sounds. “I GOT THE JUICE MOUFUKKA VOL. 1” also features appearances from respected underground talents including Indrid Cold, Boxguts, Judgement, Species, Genezis, Phoenix Da Icefire, G.S. Advance, and acclaimed super producer C-Lance, further expanding the project’s reach and impact. More than just an album, “I GOT THE JUICE MOUFUKKA VOL. 1” represents the opening chapter of the UGLi Business movement—a statement of unity, originality, and dedication to preserving the spirit of authentic hip hop. This release marks the beginning of a new wave, with upcoming solo projects from each member, all entirely produced by The Premonist. The floodgates have opened. The movement has arrived. “I GOT THE JUICE MOUFUKKA VOL. 1” — Available August 7, 2026.

My Day BeGINS WHEN YOURS ENDS

2UGLi’s new album, My Day Begins When Your Ends, is more than just his second full-length release; it’s an entirely new starting point for the rapper who hails from Chula Vista, Calif. He spent nearly two decades in the game by the time he released his debut, 2017’s Leaving My Mark, and then stepped away due to industry BS. But he knew his time as an artist wasn’t over yet—not by a longshot—and he immediately started working again with his favorite producer, The Premonist. And with the help of some other producers, 2UGLi crafted one of 2022’s best albums of the year so far with MDBWYE. For longtime fans of 2UGLi, you may be surprised by the material you hear on this record. The emcee purposely avoided more personal stories on this record and instead focused on having fun with the writing process. As he told us, “Many of my supporters will be able to hear the growth and versatility in my writing, but I still stuck to the roots of grimy hip-hop.” And to say he nailed that approach would be a massive understatement, a sentiment that’s clear as soon as the murky intro, “I Am Chicano,” emerges from your speakers. MDBWYE blends a modern and throwback sound masterfully through both 2UGLi’s approach to the mic and his team of producers. While The Premonist handled the bulk of the production, he also worked with the likes of Snowgoons, Zentna, and a few others who stayed true to the emcee’s vision. Not only that, but 2UGLi enlisted prominent like-minded emcees to bless the album, including Raekwon on the dust-covered “The Code,” Cage on the snarling “Eye For An Eye,” and Chino XL on the cinematic “Start to Finish.” The result is a cohesive, engaging look into 2UGLi’s creativity as not just a lyricist, but an artist with a clear concept in mind. That’s what makes MDBWYE such a successful project, and why we’re excited to know 2UGLi isn’t done yet. The 20 track LP becomes available on April 22 via UGLi Business in partnership with Fat Beats.
